KO Tourism has worked on a wide range of tourism development and mentoring programs designed to guide businesses in establishing innovative visitor experiences, respond to market challenges, optimise operational performance, implement online booking systems, and successfully launch new products into the market.

Destination Inspiration Mentoring Program - Destination Riverina Murray, Murray Regional Tourism
Launched in early 2021, KO Tourism developed an innovative tourism development program that provided support to 42 businesses to help them develop new bookable visitor experiences for the Riverina and Murray regions.
First Nations Tourism Mentoring Program (FNTMP) - PwC's Indigenous Consulting
Providing mentoring support to First Nations tourism businesses to help them achieve their goals.
Business Victoria Mentor and Workshop Facilitator - Monarch Institute
Part of the team delivering Business Victoria's small business support programs including in-person and online workshops, virtual one-on-one mentoring and business advice on the small business bus.
Industry Recovery Consultations - Victorian Tourism Industry Council (VTIC)
One-on-one support for tourism operators to help them plan for post-COVID business recovery.
TOURISM STRATEGIES & PLANS
KO Tourism has been involved in developing effective tourism strategies for a number of clients and has established strategic partnerships with fellow consultants on key projects.
KO Tourism collaborated with consulting firm RMCG on projects such as the Silo Art Extension Project and the Mineral Springs Masterplan and has recently partnered with Krista Hauritz to deliver the Yarra Valley & Dandenong Ranges Events Strategy & Action Plan (2024 - 2028).

Karen has a proven track record of authoring successful grant applications and tourism awards submissions for Regional Tourism Boards and tourism operators.
